Travis Hills
Associate Engineer
Travis grew up in the Pacific Northwest and attended Portland State University where he received his bachelor’s degree in civil engineering. He is a registered professional engineer in the state of Florida. Travis has participated in a variety of transportation and traffic engineering projects at Kittelson and offers diverse abilities in operational analysis, safety analysis, and functional design. He has had the opportunity to work on operational and needs assessments for corridors and intersections, safety studies using the Highway Safety Manual (HSM), and functional design projects where he has developed roadway design alternatives. Additionally, Travis has experience in utilizing several traffic engineering and transportation planning software packages, including HCS, Synchro, AutoCAD, and Microstation. He has vast experience working with the Florida Department of Transportation and MPOs/TPOs around Central Florida. In his downtime, Travis is an avid sports fan and enjoys watching the NFL, NBA, MLB, and college football/basketball.
