Samantha Liu
Engineering Associate (She/Her)
Samantha is on a mission to bridge the gaps between transportation research, policy, and design. She studied civil and environmental engineering at UC Berkeley (Go Bears!), with an emphasis on transportation systems design, planning, and operations. Recently, Samantha discovered her passion for social impact projects that address income inequality and the lack of access to necessities, such as transportation, housing, and food. Having studied sustainable urban systems at Stanford University, Samantha believes the best way she can contribute is to combine data science efforts with transportation design consulting to help local governments make more informed decisions about their communities. By creating various data-centric transportation designs, Samantha excitedly continues to work with Kittelson to ask questions and learn more about the political and logistical challenges of implementing sustainable transportation solutions.
