Sam Godon

Transportation Analyst (he/him)

Sam is a transportation analyst who’s passionate about designing and planning safe, sustainable, and people-oriented cities. As an avid cyclist and public transportation user, his devotion to improving transportation systems throughout the nation is heavily tied to his own personal reliance on and experiences with public and active transportation. This passion motivated Sam to return to school to study civil engineering at Portland State University. Here, Sam participated in the CECOP internship program, where he worked at the Portland Bureau of Transportation (PBOT) and saw first-hand how the field can impact surrounding communities. Sam is excited to continue helping communities rethink their transportation systems and bring people together. Outside of work, Sam loves to be outdoors and enjoys snowboarding, hiking, camping, and swimming. During the darker, rainier months, he enjoys cooking and playing board games with friends.
