Roxane Van Horn
Transportation Analyst
Bringing together her sustainability and planning background, Roxane takes pride in helping communities meet their needs by visualizing data and engaging with locals. Roxane joined Kittelson from the University of Florida, where she earned her degree in urban and regional planning. Her passion for active transportation and safety led her to focus her master’s thesis on children’s independent mobility, examining parental perceptions of various facilitators and barriers to children’s travel behavior throughout the built environment. Before graduate school, Roxane interned for the local government in St. Augustine, Florida, and participated as an apprentice for the Preservation Institute of Nantucket program. Some of Roxane’s many hobbies include biking, hiking, surfing, hosting game nights, and playing ultimate frisbee.
