Mike Ulrich

Mike is a seasoned planner with a proven track record in project management. His expertise lies at the intersection of transportation and land use, and his passion for innovation drives him to develop creative solutions that foster vibrant, connected communities. Mike holds a bachelor’s degree from Virginia Commonwealth University (Go Rams!) and a master of public administration from the University of Colorado. Before joining Kittelson, he spent seven years at a Metropolitan Planning Organization, leading projects to improve regional mobility and safety while using data-driven insights to inform and optimize the planning process. Outside of work, Mike enjoys golf, backpacking, and waterskiing—activities that reflect his love for the outdoors and adventure.
