Matt Steele
Transportation Analyst

Matt is a graduate of Montana State University with a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering. While at Montana State, Matt served as Secretary, and then President, of the MSU student chapter of ITE. As an active member of ITE, he developed a keen interest in the role of transportation systems in shaping communities. Prior to joining Kittelson, Matt interned at the Montana Department of Transportation producing rural highway designs first as a drafter, and later as a technician. At Kittelson, Matt passionately pursues transportation planning, geometric design of streets and highways, and safety analysis. Beyond his professional work, Matt is an avid cyclist, skier, and rock climber.
