Joey has participated in a variety of transportation engineering, planning, design, and research projects throughout the United States since joining Kittelson in 2006. From 2008 to 2009, Joey spent a year on professional exchange with Cardno Pty Ltd in Brisbane, Australia, gaining an international perspective on the traffic engineering practice. His project work includes traffic impact analyses, growth management, transportation systems planning, roundabout analysis and functional design, roadway and intersection final design, and research activities. Joey has practical knowledge of such software packages as Microstation, AutoCAD, AutoTURN, MicroStation, GIS, Highway Capacity Software (HCS), Traffix, aaSIDRA, and Synchro.
