Jennifer leads publications from storyboard to final draft, working with Kittelson’s graphic designers, technical editors, planners, engineers, and clients to craft engaging and accessible products. Using her interdisciplinary academic background in urban history, cultural studies, and art history, Jennifer unifies text and images from the outset. This practice helps her more clearly explain complex engineering and planning ideas to experts and general readers alike. Jennifer also specializes in editing for economy, helping engineers and planners tell better stories with fewer words. Outside of work, Jennifer can be found hiking, cold-water swimming, exploring Portland’s bakeries, and spending time at the barn with her horse, Ace.
