Jady Chen

Jady Chen is a transportation professional with experience in private, public, and non-profit agencies. She has worked with Kittelson throughout her graduate career and holds a master’s degree in Urban and Regional Planning from the University of Central Florida. With the knowledge she has gained working with organizations in interdisciplinary sectors, Jady is able to adapt to any work environment. As a writer, Jady is well versed in both technical styles for scientific journals and creative styles for wider audiences. She navigates different perspectives to problem-solving by adapting an interdisciplinary lens. Her background in psychology, communications, planning, and GIS allow her to offer solutions to multi-faceted problems. Jady’s passion is in pedestrian and bicycle safety, providing more equitable modes of transportation, and making cities more resilient to the pressures of climate change and sea level rise.
