Evan Reed
Associate Engineer
Evan’s hands are in lots of transportation cookie jars. During his 18 years of experience, he’s been a marketer, a project manager, a project engineer, and a task/discipline lead for roadway designs, intersection designs, ITS designs, transportation planning, and traffic-related designs and studies. Evan has experience in preparing preliminary plans, final design plans, and PS&E packages that adhere to agency standards and specifications, including those of local highway districts, State DOTs, FHWA, the US Department of Energy, private energy companies, and private developers. Evan is also versed in traffic analysis and transportation planning projects, ranging in scope from the development of long-range capital improvements plans, corridor studies, intersection concept reports, to micro-simulation modeling of downtown networks and conceptual interchange conditions, signal warrants, and traffic impact studies. Evan’s current focus is growing his knowledge base and skill sets in the development of construction documents, and fostering the development of other Kittelson staff with interest in this realm.
