Diego is an associate engineer with extensive local Oregon experience in the analysis and management of transportation engineering and planning projects. Based in Portland, OR, Diego has completed large-scale planning projects and transportation studies, successfully securing development approvals for park projects, institutional, commercial and mixed-use projects. Over the last 12 years, he has worked in close coordination with the City of Portland, Tri-Met, Portland Parks & Recreation, and the Oregon Department of Transportation, providing insight and strategic solutions to complex projects while communicating effectively with the public. His commitment to the transportation engineering profession is evidenced by his recent role as president of the Oregon Institute of Transportation Engineers, on-going relationships with university partners, and active roles within the Westside Transportation Alliance and the American Council of Engineering Companies.
