Anusha Musunuru, PhD
Senior Engineering Associate

Anusha’s experience includes statistical analysis and data-driven decision making work on transportation safety projects. She has worked on traffic safety, and design projects for Federal Highway Administration (FHWA), and State Departments of Transportation (DOTs), where she developed and quantified the relationship between different geometric design attributes, traffic operational characteristics, and safety performance measures using advanced statistical analysis and prediction methods. She has authored and co-authored 10 peer-reviewed journal articles and conference proceedings, and has given numerous technical presentations at state and national level conferences. Her research interests include mathematical/statistical modeling, econometrics, geo-spatial analysis and Bayesian analysis.
Anusha has a master’s degree and a PhD in civil and environmental engineering from the University of Utah.
