Alice Root

Alice is a recent graduate of Portland State University and has a bachelor’s in civil engineering. She became interested in transportation planning and engineering while studying abroad in Germany and experiencing multimodal infrastructure. Alice has been involved with various organizations, including ASCE, the Bicycle Transportation Alliance, and Better Blocks. She is currently enjoying a broad spectrum of work in operations, ITS, and design. Alice is also interested in seeing how transportation technologies will evolve in the future. In her spare time, Alice enjoys participating in Portland’s Pedalpalooza bike rides, watching horror films, and going river camping.
