After more than 25 years of working on transportation projects in Texas communities, we are excited to announce that we have a physical office space to go along with it!
Kittelson has established a new office in Dallas, Texas, marking an important milestone in our firm’s growth. With a strong foundation of work across Texas, we are thrilled to deepen our presence in the state and continue delivering innovative transportation solutions.
Why Texas?
Kittelson has been actively working in Texas since the early days of our firm, building strong relationships with clients over the years and delivering projects that include emerging technologies, transit, roundabout design, bike/pedestrian planning, manual creation, and development services—from planning bike networks in San Antonio to developing a handbook for North Central Texas agencies on hosting AV deployments. We’re passionate about helping communities navigate challenges and be forward-thinking in transportation research, planning, design, and operations. Though we operate as “one office in many locations,” forming project teams that draw from knowledge and skillsets across the country, having a physical presence in Dallas will allow us to better serve Texas communities and collaborate even more closely with local agencies and partners.
Welcome, Chris Poe!
We are excited to welcome our first hire in Dallas: Chris Poe, PhD, PE! Chris is a longstanding member of the transportation community and has deep roots with many Kittelson team members that date back to his start in the profession. With over 35 years of experience in transportation system design, operations, and management, Chris will lead our efforts to support Texas communities through his deep knowledge and long-standing relationships. His background includes leadership roles at the Texas A&M Transportation Institute (TTI) and extensive work in the private sector, specializing in connected and automated vehicle technologies, intelligent transportation systems, and transportation system management.
