More than 65 Kittelson team members will be participating in the 104th Transportation Research Board (TRB) Annual Meeting from January 5–9, 2025. We’re presenting on exciting topics this year, including innovative analytical tools we’ve developed with clients to improve public transit, planning-level screening of intersection alternatives for Intersection Control Evaluation, enhancements in alternative intersection simulation, strategies for selecting and managing projects, and legal implications of the use of engineering judgment in transportation operations, just to name a few!

Will you be there too? We invite you to peruse our presentation schedule below and join us at these workshops, committee meetings, poster sessions, and lectern sessions! In addition, if you’d like to set up a meeting with one of our team members to talk about working at Kittelson—whether you’re a seasoned researcher or a student planning to graduate soon—please fill out this form and we’ll get back to you to set up a time.

More TRB 2025 Resources

If you can’t tell, we get pretty excited about TRB and transportation research. Here are a few additional tips and resources we’ve put together to help you make the most of the Annual Meeting!

In addition, knowing how crowded the TRB coffee line and surrounding restaurants can get, our Washington, D.C. office has put together a map of places to eat, caffeinate, socialize, and exercise near the Walter E. Washington Convention Center. View it here!
